About Me

A South Greene graduate, I followed up my high school career with a degree at Walters State Community College before transferring to East Tennessee State University to get a Bachelors of Arts in English with a double-minor in education and creative writing. I have taught for five years prior to the 2021-2022 school year, with four of the years being at West Greene High School. While I may be a South Greene graduate, you will see me at ball games cheering on the Buffs! 

 

In my time away from grading papers, contacting guardians/students, and planning a curriculum, I often find myself enjoying time at home reading, playing games, or streaming Netflix alongside my two cats, Tango and Eclipse. I enjoy hiking and kayaking in my spare time, so I sometimes find myself deep in nature with no cell phone service.
