Course Description
Food Science and Safety is an applied-knowledge course designed for students interested in careers
in food science. The course covers fundamental principles of food science, food safety and
sanitation, food borne pathogens, and food-related standards and regulations. Upon completion of this course, students will be versed in the technical knowledge and skills necessary for further
education and careers in food science.
