Physical Science
Course Description
This course is designed to serve as a foundation for other high school science courses. It will emphasize the basic laws of chemistry and physics. Laboratory and problem solving activities will be utilized to cover the curriculum. This course will include the following units:
- Properties and Classification of Matter
- Atomic Structure
- The Periodic Table
- Chemical Bonding and Reactions
- Acids and Bases
- Motion and Stability
- Energy
